Work in progress of one of my largest digital collages (click for full size). Final printed size will be approximately 24″ x 78″ if I remember correctly.
I’m probably about 2/3’s done right now and will be cleaning up artifacts, color and massaging the line work to add a bit more depth.

“From Black” code sketch on Vimeo. It’s more of a proof of concept or prototype than anything. I plan on using this code base again, tweeking it and using different imagery and shapes that mesh more with my current work and themes.

I’m exploring different colors with this work. I really went through a big “red” phase and it wasn’t until I was getting a batch of images ready for a show that I realized how much red had been dominating my work the last several months.

I forgot to post that I had three pieces in Creativity Explored’s “Transmissions” show, which took place in June. I have yet to scan the pieces but they were solvent transfer prints derived from existing works.
